Referral terms

Share WorkOffline with friends. They get a little off, and every 3 friends who buy earn you a free flat white.

1. Who can share

Anyone with a paid WorkOffline ticket: a Single that hasn't been refunded, or Pro that has been paid for.
Your referral link is on your account page, under Refer a friend. It looks like workoffline.ai/r/K7F3QX. You can also give friends just the code.
If you only use the free download, buy a ticket first to get your link.

2. What your friends get

Single: £1 off.
Pro, paid monthly: they pay for the first month as normal, and their second month is free, as long as they are still subscribed and kept their first month.
Pro, paid yearly: one month off their first yearly payment (the price of a Starbucks flat white on the day they join, today £X.XX).
For their first WorkOffline ticket only, one friend discount per person. It can't be used for upgrades or by existing customers, and it can't be swapped for anything else.

3. What you get

A friend counts once they have kept their ticket for 14 days after paying. For Pro, that is 14 days after their first payment.
Every 3 friends who count earn you a flat white. You choose how to have it on your account page: a free month of Pro, or credit worth the price of a Starbucks flat white on the day you choose.
Credit is kept on your account with our payment provider, Stripe, and comes off your next purchase or Pro payment. If you're not on Pro, the free month starts Pro on your ticket for a month, with no card needed; if you don't add one, Pro simply ends after the month.
You can earn up to 12 flat whites in any 12 months. More friends are very welcome; they just don't earn more within that time.
We email you when you earn one, unless you turn referral emails off. Turning them off doesn't take you out of the programme.

4. The small print

Credit, not cash. Rewards are credit or free Pro time with WorkOffline. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money and can't be transferred.
Paid tickets only. You can earn and use rewards while you have a paid ticket. If you cancel Pro, unused rewards are paused until you pay again. If your only ticket is refunded, you leave the programme and unused rewards end.
Refunds and chargebacks. If a friend is refunded, charges a payment back or cancels within their 14 days, they don't count, and any discount or reward that depended on them can be taken back. If that happens after you've used a reward, we may take back unspent credit.
No self-referral. You can't refer yourself, another account of yours, or a purchase made with your own card. Referrals that look like this are not counted.
Play fair. No spam, no paid ads using our name, no misleading claims about WorkOffline, and no posting your link where the site's rules don't allow it. We can withdraw rewards and close a referral link that breaks these rules or that we reasonably think is being abused.
Changes. We can change or end the programme at any time. If we end it, we will give at least [30] days' notice on this page, and rewards you have already earned can still be used for [90] days.

If you post your link where other people can see it, on social media, a blog, a forum or a video, please make clear that you get a reward if people buy with it. For example: "I get a free coffee from WorkOffline if you buy with my link". UK advertising rules (the CAP Code) expect this whenever someone is rewarded for recommending something. A quick message to a friend doesn't need it.

6. Your data

To run the programme we keep your referral code, which purchases were made with it and their status, and the rewards you earn and use. We never tell your friends anything about you beyond what you share yourself, and we never tell you their email addresses or what they bought. Details are in the privacy policy.
